Mountainous and remote
Perfect for couples who love nature, mystery and drama, a remote mountainous landscape makes for a stunning wedding photoshoot location! Here, we have one of our beautiful couples in Mount Rainier, WA state, for their magical photoshoot. The smoky, foggy atmosphere looks utterly enchanting and fairytale inspired. With breathtaking views behind the newlyweds, and lush greenery surrounding them, this landscape is oh-so captivating and mesmerizing. If you are looking for an intimate, romantic, and picturesque setting for your shoot, a mountainous location is ideal for you!

Lakes have always been considered a romantic location for couples, so, why not have your photoshoot setting lakeside, beside the rippling water, tweeting birds and rich nature? Feel the fresh air on your face as you stand on top of the world. Our radiant couple, Tierney and Gabriel, chose Lake Diablo, WA, as their photoshoot setting. The lake water's vibrancy in the backdrop of the photos looks so unique, elegant and romantic. A lake location is not only insanely beautiful and mystical, it is also nice to get back to nature, feel in tune with the earth and appreciate our natural surroundings.

Lush forest
Feel like a princess in a real life fairytale amongst a green, abundant forest in your wedding or bridal photoshoot, and head into the wild. With a mixture of bright and deep green shades in the background, a forest setting creates the perfect contrast against a light-colored gown. Although the backdrop is simple and rustic, the bucolic surroundings allow the subject to stand out majestically, and create an effortlessly enchanting aesthetic. In the heart of a Seattle forest, the ethereal, Katie, looks like she has stepped into a storybook in this shoot.

A huge advantage of choosing a beach location is that the lighting is exceptional, and looks incredible in photos. Similar to the other locations, no decor or props are needed on the beach, as the glorious, natural scenery speaks for itself. Here, the glamorous Roxie, and hubby, Jordan, look picture-perfect on Cape Kiwanda Beach, Oregon, gliding along the soft sand romantically. Photos taken during sunset and golden hour are a must at the beach; utterly swoon-worthy and magnificent!

Winter wonderland
For the adventurous couple, who love a Frozen fairytale vibe, opt for a winter wonderland aesthetic, and choose a snowy, mountainous backdrop for your wedding photoshoot! Look swept away in the winter whirlwind, and feel like you have stepped into the snowy, secluded wilderness. The exquisite, Svetlana, looks like an ice queen in these fabulous photos in the Alaskan mountains. Alaska's rugged mountaintops and unique scenery will have you feeling like you've emerged into an isolated world, with only you and your partner there.

Vast desert landscapes and towering sand dunes make for some epic backdrops that are totally one-of-a-kind and eye-catching. From day to night, desert settings deliver some incredible, dramatic images. We love how quirky desert surroundings are, with fascinating nature and plants, and golden, sandy terrains. In the US, there are multiple desert attractions to choose from, such as Sedona, AZ (top), or Joshua Tree National Park, CA (bottom). Both of these beguiling, stark landscapes are idyllic choices for desert seekers, and will help create some unforgettable photos!

Magnificent canyon
Lastly, for the daring couples who desire an alternative photoshoot location, why not choose a canyon backdrop? Capture how adventurous and unique your love story is with a rugged and rocky, immense background to your photos. If you love the outdoors, trekking and being deep in the heart of remote natural landscapes, the Horseshoe Bend in Glen Canyon, AZ, is a stunningly iconic location, and of course looks spectacular in photos. You must be willing to hike for 1.5 miles to reach this destination, however, it is no doubt worth it for an incredible experience and timeless photos. Dusk is the peak time to snap those dreamy shots, so be sure to plan accordingly when you go.
