Today, we are excited to share just how stunning MyAnh looks in her gowns and how she styled each one.
One of the many amazing things about creating custom-made bridal gowns is that we meet so many beautiful budding brides wanting to feel just as unique and special as they should for their big day. MyAnh contacted us back in 2019 inquiring about having a bespoke wedding dress and ao dai made. She had been disappointed during her wedding dress search thus far and decided that custom was the perfect route to acquire the dress she dreamed of. MyAnh came to us with a very clear idea of what style of wedding dress she desired, and we quickly devised a final design for her gown. We then began the next step: final sketches and fabric swatches.
MyAnh's wedding gown looks truly exquisite and elegant. We would say it looks made for her, but it really was in this case! She selected a mermaid/trumpet silhouette for her gown, a chic and timeless style that is ultra-flattering and figure-hugging. A sweetheart plunging neckline adds a romantic, sultry touch, and a fully lined bodice with defined white corded boning creates the most enchanting shape. The ensemble's trumpet skirt was made from the softest tulle, adding the most angelic aesthetic to the look. She didn't want the skirt to look too overwhelming and over-the-top, so we added just the right amount of tulle to achieve a slight dramatic flair. As MyAnh has a petite frame, a custom-made wedding dress was definitely the right choice to ensure everything fitted to perfection.
The beading work is utterly mesmerizing; we love how it sparkles in the light. A true masterpiece!
MyAnh also chose our Damita custom-made bridal ao dai to wear for her Vietnamese ceremony. An ao dai is a traditional Vietnamese ensemble that conventionally features a long tunic and floor-length pants underneath. Our Damita ao dai features dazzling embellishments from head to toe, ensuring an unmissable sparkle all day and night. A beaded illusion neckline and sheer long sleeves add the most luxurious touch to the look; royally stunning. MyAnh's husband is wearing our Ming groom ao dai jacket, and together, they look like royalty in their traditional ao dai garments. Our Ming groom ao dai jacket features fierce dragon embroidery that will no doubt stand out from the rest! They were both over-the-moon with their pieces which brings us nothing but joy.
MyAnh paired her regal red bridal ao dai with our beautiful Fenghuang traditional overcoat for the most show-stopping look. Traditionally, an ao dai overcoat is worn over a bride's ao dai, adding an extra layer of luxury and elegance. Both of the ao dai pieces feature red and gold elements which look perfectly matched together.
