At the end of August I mentioned that Dream Dresses by P.M.N. was scheduled to participate in the Bellevue Collection Independent Designer Runway Show on September 9th. It was a very long process of 6 months mentorship program, and it was very emotional and competitive.
Now, I am very happy and proud to announce that my “Autumn Glamour” collection was awarded the best collection among the eight finalists. It was a tough competition, with eight very talented designers competing for the title.

I want to thank you for your continued support and interest, and would like to introduce and share with you the concept that was behind this special collection.
I was inspired by Fall in the Pacific Northwest and all its colors, blending warm fall tones and textures together. A key feature is the TEXTURE, which I focused on and tried to represent in all aspects of the dresses - overlapping layers and hand-embroidered leaves and flowers. Additionally, sparkling elements of old Hollywood glam are mixed with traditional lines and light silhouettes.
The result is a perfect balance between modern and classic elegance.

This is not only about achieving my dream as a designer, also means so much for me that I could give my grandfather some money to help with his medical bills. Almost a month ago, my grandfather had 2 strokes and we thought we might lose him so I took a last minute trip to Vietnam to visit him, and thought I might be saying goodbye to him. However, God answered my prayers, and I am forever thankful. My grandfather survived the strokes, and although he is now paralyzed on half of his body, I am just so thankful that he is still with us.
I cannot thank Bellevue Collection enough for this incredible opportunity!!
